About me

Hi! I’m Peggy. I live a pretty unusual life where every day is really awesome and something I look forward to. Living and traveling in other cultures has become my way of life. My goal is to inspire you to have the courage to follow your passion – whatever it may be. It’s the only way to live!

A few years ago, after a five week trip to Southeast Asia, I returned home to massive amounts of snow, the same corporate job I’d had for far too long and my oh so settled routine. I swear I cried for months! I decided that was it; it was time to do something different with my life. And surprise, here I am now, having quit my job, sold my house and gotten rid of everything I own (well, except the important stuff like my skis and bike!) and am traveling full time. How cool is that?!

I’ve never been one to fit the standard mold and guess this just proves it. I’ve been to five continents, 14 countries and have met countless amazing people. People say I’m brave. But I don’t feel brave. I get lost routinely, am terrified of flying (well, at least the take-off, landing, and turbulence parts – the rest of the time I just pretend I’m on a bus) and spend far too much time alone. I have no itinerary, no backup plan and no end in sight.

Right now I’m exploring Colombia, looking for a volunteering gig and improving my Spanish. I’ve found home isn’t a building; it’s wherever I happen to be. Right now, this is home and I couldn’t be happier.
